NERDS

May 5th, 2009

I can’t find a small box of nerds to purchase. I tried to get a package to include in my letter to NBC, but since the packages only came in supersize, I didn’t do it. Then I started thinking about how sad it was that you can’t purchase a small candy for $.25 cents. Why does the USA have to supersize and over-portion every form of food?!

You tried to mail nerds to a major network to support a show about a nerdy spy. And then you blogged about it. Wow, Nicole, I always thought you were kind of cool, but welcome to the nerd herd.

This is fantastic. When I first read it, I thought you were joking about being able to buy nerds, actual nerds, a form of very geeky people, in small plastic packs. Then I realised it must be some form of sweet (to you, candy) that you can get in America. Then I started thinking how great it would be to make little plastic model nerd people that you could purchase and give to people (who were themselves nerds), or use to adorn your desk, or decorate a cake, or whatever. Then I thought, others would like that too. We could make and sell small gift nerds. Others may have already had and produced this idea. But if not, we will make millions. Brilliant.
