Metal vs. Plastic

October 29th, 2008

My political car magnet that I have been checking my mailbox for daily, has finally arrived. I ripped open the package and went to the car to stick it on. My first car magnet, how exciting!

Except my car seems to be made of plastic. Blerg.

See if it sticks to the bumper instead of the back panel - my friend has to do that on her car.

Doesn’t stick to the bumper or the trunk - I’ve considered covering up my license plate with the magnet…

Have you seen the Prius ad where they make the car out of sticks and leaves - and then the wind blows and it all turns back into grass by the lake. I saw the ad and said, “I hope that Nicole’s car is not biodegradable. And if it is, I hope you keep it in the garge.
My new 1949 plymouth has lots of metal - days gone by when cars were made to last.
    How about duct tape?

PS. This is as good of a place as any: I really like the wordpress theme, Nicole. Ours is nice for our colors, etc. but it really could be more functional (more eyecandy). I tweaked the fonts some to make it a bit more usable, but someday….
