I too was think how much easier it would be to give birth to a mouse and my babies weren't very big! I too have many questions, but they all fall under the too gross to share category! In the movie, I believe Michael J. Fox was the voice of the mouse. We've seen the movie many times and I thought it was cute, but now I should go read the book - maybe skipping over the part where she gives birth to the mouse. Okay, we are all a little wierd! I also wondered how big she got as a pregnant lady. Did she know that she was going to give birth to an unusually freakish small baby? Did she feel pain like in the birth of a child? I only saw the movie once (and only watched about 3/4 of it) but if I remember right, the only similarities are that the family has one kid who is a mouse.
