A Few Highlights
We returned from our journey around the United States on Monday, one day later than planned because of crazy construction in Pennsylvania. I headed to work on Tuesday for curriculum writing. I hate curriculum writing, so it wasn’t the greatest way to begin the first day of non-traveling.
Tim and I had a great time on our trip. We traveled over 5000 miles in our Prius and only had one break-in. Our old neighborhood - a snobby, cute neighborhood - was the sight of the crime. My purse was stolen, but the criminals were not that smart. My car keys were in my bag, our ipod was in the console, and our luggage was in the back -all of which were more valuable than an empty wallet. Though it will cost a lot to replace our smart key for the Prius. We decided I was most likely the victim of a random window breaking spree and they probably would have broken our window regardless of what was inside the car. The person next to us had her window broken even though nothing was stolen. I am still in the process of getting new credit cards and now have to rebuild my coffee punch card library. Speaking of which, the criminals got away with one punch card that was ready to be redeemed for a free drink. Dang it!
It was great to see friends and family. We would definitely do it again. Anyone looking for some advice on traveling the country or needing a place to stay on their journey, give us a call!

Well, apparently I don’t have any email address for you, since I couldn’t find one in gmail. Mine is elizabeth wickland @ gmail.com (minus the spaces…)
And yes, I actually have an etsy site, though I’ve only listed a few things and they haven’t seemed to get any bites. I should get ambitious someday and post more things. I am elizabethwickland.etsy.com
Anyway- send me an email so I can have one for you, and then we can circumvent all this comment posting!
it was great seeing you… although much to short. hopefully we can do coffee next time our paths cross again
