Winter Tour
This weekend we went to the Hudson River Valley in New York. We toured around FDR’s home and enjoyed the products of the CIA. (Not the actual CIA as I first thought, but the Culinary Institute of America.) We ate well on our trip. Much of our trip was meant to be enjoyed during nicer weather. Lots of places were closed for the season or advertised for their summer/fall views of the valley. The hiking and biking trails seemed like they would have been great in weather that was warmer than the 30 degrees we were experiencing.
On the other hand, we did not have to chose which things to visit and which things to save until later because there was not much choice. Don’t worry, we found plenty to do. FDR’s home was definitely a highlight.
So tomorrow I head back to work after my week long break - that is unless we get a snow day.
