Pricey Cavities
On Thursday night, Tim and I decided to go to an Eritrean restaurant, Caffe Addulis. We started with some lentil nachos and had a vegetarian platter to share. My first bite of our main course had some forgien object in it which ended up cracking my one filling in my mouth - which caused me great pain this summer since it had to be filled twice. The rock made such a loud crack in my mouth that it caused Tim and a few others to look at me strangely.
In college, I had a similar situation at the Bethel dining center. I was enjoying my rice and I bite into a pebble. Further investigation of my rice revealed 7 small pebbles.
Our inexpensive meal is about to turn expensive as I have to repair my tooth. Short of sueing the restaurant, which I wouldn’t do, there is no way to get any money from them. I think at least the meal should have been discounted.
