Awkward

Meeting new people is always interesting. It seems that you have to find common ground to start a conversation without asking any personal questions. But the personal questions can lead to awkward conversation moments or they can kill the flow of a conversation. I usually like to get to know a person with lots of questions, but there is a certain time frame for when to ask questions and how many questions are appropriate for one evening.

I tend to believe that if a certain amount of time has passed during a friendship and you did not ask certain personal questions (such as do you have siblings?) you cannot ask them because you are supposed to know the answers. Therefore, it is important to make the most of your question asking phase because it is a key information gathering time which the details of your friendship will be based.

I hope to fight the awkwardness and allow the moments to be killed. The awkwardness should lead to greatness.
