Yesterday, as I was walking through the Yale campus, I saw someone wearing a navy blue Yale sweatshirt. I was about to stop them and say, “Hey, I go to Yale, too,” but then I remembered I was at Yale, so this fact would be of no particular interest to the poor person in a blue sweatshirt.

That sounds like something I would do. Except I’d probably do it on purpose right after almost doing it accidentally.
